Wazu ki Dua with Urdu & English Translation

Wazu sa phala ki dua wazu ka darmiyan ki dua wazu ka bad ki dua

Wazu (ablution) is a vital act of purification in Islam, required before performing Salah, touching the Quran, or performing other acts of worship. It purifies not only the frame but also the soul, getting ready a believer to face before Allah with purity and humility. Reciting wazu dua at the beginning, throughout and after Wazu will increase non secular reward and helps in preserving the Sunnah practice of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Wazu Se Pehle Ki Dua

Arabic:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

English Translation:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Urdu Translation:

اللہ کے نام سے شروع کرتا ہوں جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے۔

Note:

This dua should be recited before starting wudu. Without saying “Bismillah,” the wudu is incomplete according to many scholars.

Wazu Ke Darmiyan Ki Dua

Arabic:

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي، وَوَسِّعْ لِي فِي دَارِي، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي رِزْقِي

English Translation:

O Allah, forgive my sins, expand my home, and bless me in my sustenance.

Urdu Translation:

اے اللہ! میرے گناہوں کو بخش دے، میرے گھر میں کشادگی عطا فرما، اور میرے رزق میں برکت دے۔

Wazu Ke Baad Ki Dua

Arabic:

اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَّا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ وَ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهٗ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ

اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِيْ مِنَ التَّوَّابِيْنَ وَاجْعَلْنِيْ مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِيْنَ

English Translation:

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, He is One and has no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad ﷺ is His servant and Messenger. O Allah, make me among those who repent often and those who stay pure.

Urdu Translation:

میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمد ﷺ اس کے بندے اور رسول ہیں۔ اے اللہ! مجھے توبہ کرنے والوں اور پاک رہنے والوں میں شامل فرما۔

Importance of Wudu in Islam

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“When a Muslim performs wudu and washes his face, every sin that he looked at with his eyes will be washed away with the water.”

(Sahih Muslim)

This hadith shows that wudu not only purifies the body but also cleanses the soul from sins.
