Taraweeh Dua with Urdu & English Translation

Taraweeh ki Dua OR Tasbeeh Taraweeh is a special dua recited during the Taraweeh prayer, which is offered only in the holy month of Ramadan after the Isha prayer. Muslims perform Taraweeh to seek Allah’s mercy, forgiveness, and blessings.

سُبْحَانَ ذِي الْمُلْكِ وَالْمَلَكُوتِ، سُبْحَانَ ذِي الْعِزَّةِ وَالْعَظَمَةِ وَالْهَيْبَةِ وَالْقُدْرَةِ وَالْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَالْجَبَرُوتِ، سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْحَيِّ الَّذِي لَا يَنَامُ وَلَا يَمُوتُ، سُبُّوحٌ قُدُّوسٌ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالرُّوحِ، اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنَا مِنَ النَّارِ، يَا مُجِيرُ، يَا مُجِيرُ، يَا مُجِيرُ۔

پاک ہے وہ ذات جو بادشاہی اور سلطنت کا مالک ہے، پاک ہے وہ ذات جو عزت، عظمت، ہیبت، قدرت، بڑائی اور جبروت والا ہے۔ پاک ہے وہ بادشاہ جو زندہ اور ہمیشہ قائم رہنے والا ہے، جو نہ سوتا ہے اور نہ مرتا ہے۔ بہت پاک، بہت مقدس ہے ہمارا رب، جو فرشتوں اور روح (حضرت جبرائیلؑ) کا بھی رب ہے۔ اے اللہ! ہمیں دوزخ کی آگ سے بچا، اے پناہ دینے والے! اے پناہ دینے والے! اے پناہ دینے والے!

Glory be to the Owner of the Kingdom and the Dominion. Glory be to the Possessor of Honor, Greatness, Awe, Power, Majesty, and Might. Glory be to the Ever-Living King who neither sleeps nor dies. Most Holy and Most Pure is our Lord, the Lord of the angels and the Spirit (Jibreel). O Allah, save us from the fire of Hell. O Protector! O Protector! O Protector!

When to Read

The Taraweeh Dua is recited after every four rak‘ahs (two Tarweeha) during Taraweeh prayers in Ramadan.
