Dua e Qunoot with Urdu & English Translation

Dua e Qunoot is recited during the Witr prayer, which is offered after the Isha prayer. It is a dua of humility, seeking Allah’s help, guidance, forgiveness, and protection from trials. The word “Qunoot” means obedience, devotion, and standing in supplication before Allah. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this dua to be recited in the last rak’ah of Witr, usually before or after the Rukoo (bowing position), depending on the school of thought.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ، وَنُؤْمِنُ بِكَ، وَنَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْكَ، وَنُثْنِي عَلَيْكَ الْخَيْرَ، وَنَشْكُرُكَ وَلَا نَكْفُرُكَ، وَنَخْلَعُ وَنَتْرُكُ مَنْ يَفْجُرُكَ،
اللَّهُمَّ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ، وَلَكَ نُصَلِّي وَنَسْجُدُ، وَإِلَيْكَ نَسْعَى وَنَحْفِدُ، وَنَرْجُو رَحْمَتَكَ، وَنَخْشَى عَذَابَكَ، إِنَّ عَذَابَكَ بِالْكُفَّارِ مُلْحَقٌ

اے اللہ! ہم تیری ہی مدد چاہتے ہیں، تجھ ہی سے بخشش مانگتے ہیں، تجھ پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں، تجھ پر بھروسہ کرتے ہیں، تیری ہی تعریف کرتے ہیں، تیرا شکر ادا کرتے ہیں اور ناشکری نہیں کرتے۔
اے اللہ! ہم ان لوگوں سے الگ ہوتے ہیں جو تیرا انکار کرتے ہیں۔
اے اللہ! ہم تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں، تیرے ہی لیے نماز پڑھتے ہیں اور سجدہ کرتے ہیں، ہم تیری ہی طرف دوڑتے ہیں، تیری رحمت کے امیدوار ہیں اور تیرے عذاب سے ڈرتے ہیں، یقیناً تیرا عذاب کافروں کو گھیر لینے والا ہے۔

O Allah! We seek Your help and ask Your forgiveness. We believe in You and put our trust in You. We praise You in the best way and thank You without denying Your blessings.
O Allah! We separate ourselves from those who disobey You.
O Allah! We worship You alone, pray and prostrate for You alone, and we hasten to serve You. We hope for Your mercy and fear Your punishment, for surely Your punishment will overtake the disbelievers.
