6th Kalma in Arabic with Urdu & English Translation

The 6th Kalma, also called as Kalma-e-Radd-e-Kufr, means Rejecting disbelief. It is a way for a Muslim to seek forgiveness from Allah and declare that they believe in Him alone. By reciting this verse, a person promises to stay away from shirk and firmly believes that Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) is the last messenger of Allah.

اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ شَيْئًا وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ بِهِ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَا أَعْلَمُ بِهِ، تُبْتُ عَنْهُ وَتَبَرَّأْتُ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالشِّرْكِ وَالْكِذْبِ وَالْغِيبَةِ وَالْبِدْعَةِ وَالنَّمِيمَةِ وَالْفَوَاحِشِ وَالْبُهْتَانِ وَالْمَعَاصِي كُلِّهَا، وَأَسْلَمْتُ وَأَقُولُ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ

اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں اس بات سے کہ میں جان بوجھ کر کسی کو تیرا شریک ٹھہراؤں، اور میں تجھ سے بخشش مانگتا ہوں اس گناہ کے لیے جو مجھے معلوم نہیں۔ میں ہر قسم کے کفر، شرک، جھوٹ، غیبت، بدعت، چغلی، بے حیائی، بہتان اور تمام گناہوں سے توبہ کرتا ہوں، اور اسلام قبول کرتا ہوں، اور کہتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، اور محمد ﷺ اللہ کے رسول ہیں۔
6th Kalma in English
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from associating anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do unknowingly. I repent from it, and I reject disbelief, polytheism, falsehood, backbiting, innovation, slander, indecency, lies, and all sins. I submit to Your will and declare that there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah.

Importance of the 6th Kalma
The sixth kalma is very important in the life of a Muslim. Because it’s not just about faith. There is also a promise of repentance. It teaches humility, sincerity and awareness of one’s actions. By reciting it, a Muslim affirms their belief that Allah alone is worthy of worship, and that they should abstain from false beliefs, sins, and vices.
