Yaum-e-Arafah, also known as the Day of Arafah among muslims, holds great importance for Muslims around the globe. It falls on the 9th of Zil-Hijja, one day before Eid-al-Adha. On this holy day, countless pilgrims stand on the plains of Arafat during the Hajj, seeking forgiveness, mercy and closeness to Allah.

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔

اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کے لیے بادشاہت ہے اور اسی کے لیے سب تعریف ہے، اور وہ ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے۔

When to Read
This dua should be recited throughout the day of Arafah – from sunrise to sunset on 9th Zul Hijjah. Even those who do not perform Hajj are encouraged to recite it repeatedly along with fasting on this day, which has great reward.
Importance
Yaum-e-Arafah is one of the holiest days in Islam. This was the day when Allah completed the religion of Islam and bestowed His blessings upon the believers. Making dua on this day brings one closer to Allah and reminds us of our purpose, humility and final status on the Day of Judgment.
