Teesre Ashre ki Dua with Urdu & English Translation

The third Ashra of Ramadan is known as “Ashra-e-Nijat” — which means “The Ten Days of Salvation”. It is the last and most significant part of the blessed month, during which Muslims seek protection from the fire of Hell and strive for complete forgiveness from Allah Almighty.

The third Ashra focuses on reaching salvation from Hellfire and receiving everlasting mercy from Allah. It is a time to reflect on your deeds, give a boost to your faith, and ensure that the benefits earned in Ramadan last for some stage in the 12 months.

Recommended Acts in the Third Ashra

1. Recite the Dua: “Allahumma Ajirni Minan Naar” as often as possible.
2. Seek forgiveness (Istighfar) regularly.
3. Offer Tahajjud prayers and make heartfelt Duas.
4. Give charity (Sadaqah and Zakat) to those in need.
5. Search for Laylat-ul-Qadr, especially in the odd nights (21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, and 29th).
6. Increase recitation of the Holy Quran.
