Qabristan jana ki Dua

Visiting the graveyard is a Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It serves as a reminder of death and the Hereafter, softening our hearts and encouraging repentance. The Prophet ﷺ used to visit graves to pray for the deceased and seek forgiveness for them. اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَهْلَ الْقُبُوْرِ يَغْفِرُ اللّٰهُ لَنَا وَلَكُمْ أَنْتُمْ سَلَفُنَا وَنَحْنُ بِالْأَثَرِ

اے قبروں والو! تم پر سلامتی ہو، اللہ تعالیٰ ہمیں اور تمہیں بخش دے۔ تم ہم سے پہلے جا چکے ہو اور ہم بھی تمہارے پیچھے آنے والے ہیں۔

O dwellers of the graves, peace be upon you. May Allah forgive us and you. You have gone before us, and we shall soon follow you.
